How can a digital environment form a living ecosystem with the use of external sources of realtime data? and how do these forms of live input influence or generate narratives? Sources of realtime input can be utilised to create a digital environment that functions as an organism or could emulate and/or represent various forms of living entities or fenonoma. These can determine or generated narratives, depending on how the data is interpreted visually and interactively. The research will be further investigated with the question how biofeedback from the user become a tool for navigation in the interactive experience? Adding this input incorporates a new dimension of player input creating more immersive experience. We can distinguish several forms of biofeedback. Both in form of big data, collected by databases with realtime information, as well as sensor data, often connected to either the space and/or user. This is described with examples below: Sources of realtime input as realtime information extracted from big data, examples: - weather changes, hurricanes, thunderstorms, local temperatures, snow levels - flighttrafic, country population, world population, both realtime + over timeline from exact year - movement of stars, sun cycles, constellations, moon phases - measurements of matter, antimatter, gravity. - plant growth, melting icecaps, biodivercity local, national, international. Sources of realtime sensor data as biofeedback, examples: - sensor data that can measure the room> temperature, sound, frequency, amount of visitors - sensor data that can measure the users body movements, facial expressions, voice - sensor data that can measure the users body temperature, pupil dilation, heartbeat, breathing These input sources can then be transformed to parameters, and create experimental gameplay using the exact same force they represent in the big data (f.e. wind, gravity, thunder) or represent or generate entirely different objects or levels.
